About Exam
The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is the main test required for admission to master's and PhD programs in engineering, humanities, and exact sciences.
Format
The GRE General Test consists of 3 parts: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. The exam duration has been reduced to 1 hour and 58 minutes.
Grading
The Verbal and Quantitative sections are scored between 130-170, and Writing from 0-6. For a competitive result, one should aim for 160+ in both main sections.
